St Genies“La Vigne”, St Genies de Fontedit, Herault, France

The property is located in the heart of the small village of St Genies de Fontedit in the Languedoc-Rousillon wine-growing region of the Herault in southern France. It is fifteen minutes drive from the outskirts of the old, busier town of Beziers, with regional airports conveniently only an hour away at either Montpellier, Perpignan or Carcassonne, or the larger Toulouse which is just two hours away.

“We can thoroughly recommend the wonderful restaurants at any of the nearby resorts and local villages – especially the seafood and country fare.”

The village of St Genies is quietly located just 3 km off the main D909 route to Beziers and the coast, and is very much in keeping with similar villages in the region. The village nestles in the foothills with surrounding vineyards, is close to the mountains inland, and yet the Mediterranean coastal resorts at Agde, Valras, and Narbonne are only 30 minutes away. The climate is always warm, becoming very hot in the summer months (typically 35C), and remaining a pleasant 10-15C in winter. It usually rains only in late Autumn and in early Spring, with sunshine throughout the year tempered by cooling sea breezes. The house has oil-fired central heating throughout the living areas of the house for use in the evenings of late autumn/early spring and in winter. Find out more about the property

Spain

Alba“Alba”, Monte y Mar, Gran Alacant, Costa Blanca, Spain

The property is located on a modern development that is just two minutes drive inland from the sand dunes and beaches of the small, modern resort of Las Arenales. Shops, restaurants, pubs and bars are all within easy walking distance of the house, which is south-facing and overlooks the pool and gardens.

“We have enjoyed a wonderful relaxing beach holiday, with the pool and gardens immediately opposite.”

It is fifteen minutes drive from the outskirts of the older, busier resort of Alicante, and the airport is conveniently only ten minutes away. The development comprises many different settings in mostly Spanish style, set on a hillside with views looking inland across the fertile valley around Alicante to the distant hills. The climate is always warm, becoming very hot in the summer months (typically 35C), and a pleasant 10-15C in winter. It usually rains only in late Autumn and early Spring, with sunshine on at least 320 days in the year. Find out more about the property

Golf“Golf”, Golf Panoramica, San Jordi, Castellon, Spain

Our property Golf D-2 is located on a modern golf and country club development, known as “Golf Panoramica”. It is less than fifteen minutes drive from the typically Spanish seaside resort of Vinaros, with the larger towns/resorts of Benicarlo and Peniscola within 20-25 minutes’ drive.

It is just a few kilometres off the arterial AP7/E15 coastal motorway; airports at Barcelona (2 hours), Valencia (1+ hours) and Reus (1 hour) are all within easy access by motorway. The views are magnificent, both inland to the backdrop of the Puertos de Beseit mountain range and National Park, out to the coast, and across hectares of orange groves and olive trees.

“Its been ideal to stay here and to explore both the small coastal towns and the hillside villages (of this part of Spain.)”

The climate is temperate (ideal for playing golf), becoming hot in the summer months (up to 30C by early afternoon), but with a pleasant breeze either coming off the sea or off the mountains, and typically 10-15C through the winter. The breezes do bring occasional cloud and rain, but then it keeps the area looking lush and green. Find out more about the property
