Travel from UK

We have several years’ experience in arranging travel overseas, mainly from making our own holiday plans but also in booking for others. This has enabled us to develop working arrangements with some preferred travel agencies and companies who are able to provide discounted travel for flights and ferry bookings to Europe and on flights to USA, sometimes with inclusive car hire at preferential rates. We are pleased to pass on these benefits to you.

The low-cost airlines are very competitive for flights to Europe, and prices can change by the hour!! If you wish us to investigate and book your travel for you, we will undertake to find the best arrangements that suit your plans, including  departure airport in the UK, destination airport, duration of car hire (pick-up/return times and locations, size of vehicle, choice of fuel etc.). This will take some time and discussion with you, and we will confirm details before you make any final booking. For this service, we make an administrative charge of £40 per accommodation booking, payable to us with your accommodation booking deposit.

Cleaning

The weekly price of the accommodation includes all bedding, household towels and utilities, a Welcome Pack of provisions, pre-arrival preparation of the house and the services of our local English caretaker on arrival and during your stay. There is an additional charge of €60-€75 in Europe/$60 in Florida per booking, payable locally to our caretaker/local management, to cover laundry/final cleaning on your departure. If you wish to have the service of additional cleaning during your stay, including change of bedding and towels, this should be advised prior to your arrival and is payable locally to the local property caretaker. Typical costs are between €40 to €60 in Europe, and $40 in Florida.

Local Travel

Although we strongly recommend you book a hire car for each property, if you choose not to have a hire car at any of our locations, it is possible to travel independently to the property either by public transport and by private taxi. For example, we can make local arrangements at Alicante for you to be collected from the airport; this is payable locally at approx. €25 to €40  for the 15 minute journey. Please advise us when booking.

Airport Car Parking

We would be pleased to recommend arrangements for your car parking at the local UK airport of your departure. This is at no extra cost to the £40 administrative fee per accommodation booking that is payable to us with your accommodation booking deposit for booking your travel from the UK.
